N2 - We have determined the Fermi surface properties of PrPb3 by a de Haas-van Alphen experiment. The cyclotron effective mass is extremely temperature dependent and highly anisotropic even for almost spherical Fermi surfaces, which is due to the antiferroquadrupolar ordering.
