Abstract

A WATER MODEL EXPERIMENT HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT TO INVESTIGATE MOTION IN A BOTTOM BLOWN CONVERTER WITH TUYERES SET IN TWOROWS. VISUAL OBSERVATION INDICATED THE OCCURRENCE OF TWO TYPES OF WAVE MOTIONS. THE GENERATION OF WAVE MOTIONS IS INFLUENCED BY GAS FLOW RATE, BATH DEPTH AND TUYERE CONFIGURATION.IN JAPANESE, WITH ENGLISH ABSTRACT.
