Torsion of paraovarian cyst is not so uncommon, but sonographic diagnosis of this disease is difficult. We could make two preoperative diagnosis of this disease by MRI and CT. In one case, MRI shows a thin-walled unilocular cyst in contact with ovary, and CT shows hemorrhage in the wall of paraovarian cyst. In the other case. Contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MR image shows no significant contrast enhancement in thickened wall of the twisted paraovarian cyst. Particularly. MRI with contrast study is useful for diagnosis of torsion of paraovarian cyst.
