Abstract

Three new taxane diterpenoids were isolated from the leaves of the Japanese yew, Taxus cuspidata. Their structures were established as 5α,13α-diacetoxy-taxa-4(20),11-diene-9α,10β-diol (1), 7β,13α-diacetoxy-5α-cinnamyloxy-2(3→20)-abeo-taxa-4(20),11 -diene-2α,10β-diol (2), and 2α,10β,13α-triacetoxy-taxa-4(20),11-diene-5α,7β,9 α-triol (3)respectively on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR data.
