Terahertz spectroscopy of electronic ferroelectric LuFe 2O 4 crystal

Abstract

The frequency dependence of the complex dielectric constant of LuFe 2O 4 single crystal is measured by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. We observed a broad infrared active mode in the real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric constants at around 25 cm -1.
