Superconductivity and magnetic properties in the spin ladder compound (Sr,Ca)14Cu24O41

We review our recent experimental results on the two-leg ladder compound Sr14-xCaxCu24O41, mainly focused on the superconductivity under pressure and coexistence between the spin gap and antiferromagnetic order induced by appropriate hole doping at ambiant pressure.
