Study on applicability of measurement system for topography in water area

Abstract

A topographical measurement system consisting of a RTK-GPS and an echo-sounder is described. Errors due to movement of a boat are corrected with outputs from a clinometer and a compass. Results from accuracy tests for correction are introduced. The experimental method is illustrated.
