Abstract

To investigate the change of structure of austenite during hot rolling, a newly developed testing machine which enables simulation of hot rolling of plate, strip and wire and rod has been used. The results have been evaluated to make a calculation model in which the effect of prior working on the recrystallization behavior at the next deformation can be taken into consideration by means of the dislocation density.
