Abstract

Graphene oxide (GO) is a new type of nanosheet bearing various functional groups. Nano-sized graphene oxide (NGO) especially shows plenty of attractive properties, such as photoluminescence. Although the size of GO strongly affects the properties, no deposition method can achieve facile size separation. Herein, we found that an alternating current electric field is effective for size separation. We examined the effect of the frequency, the treatment time, temperature of the solvent on the size of deposited GO.
