Raman scattering and infrared reflectivity of κ-(ET)2Cu(SCN)2 under pressure

The Raman scattering and infrared reflectivity of κ-(ET)2Cu(SCN)2 were measured under pressures of up to 1.7GPa. Most phonon modes exhibit a linear pressure dependence of 0.5-1%/GPa. Comparison of these measurements with transport measurements under pressure and comparison of the pressure dependence of the Raman and IR spectra indicates that the electron-electron interaction could be the relevant interaction for superconductivity in these materials.
