Quasi-simultaneous recognition of plural targets for soccer robot and motion control

Abstract

Quasi-simultaneous recognition of plural targets composed of the ball, the goal, and the robot, and motion control of robot using this proposed recognition method were performed. We employ Genetic Algorithm(GA) to execute recognition process by model-based matching method, and motion control of soccer robot is performed using the position information of targets obtained by recognition result. Finally, the experiment is performed to show the effectiveness of the motion control of robot based on the quasi-simultaneous recognition.
