Abstract
Both 63Cu NQR frequency νQ and 1/T1T were found to decrease under high pressure up to 14kbar, indicating the decrease of hole density at Cu site. The enhancement of Tc under pressure is explained as due to the transfer of hole density from Cu to oxygen, which increases the effective carrier density.
