Abstract

Pb2+/Pb0 redox equilibrium was studied with linear sweep voltammetry. The activity of PbO increases with the solvent basicity. A Pourbaix diagram analogue is presented with redox data obtained from the present and previous studies. The diffusivity of Pb2+ ion was evaluated from the peak currents and the effect of alumina upon it is discussed.
