Abstract

We have succeeded in observing the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations in the filled skutterudite PrFe4P12. The results predict a large difference in topology of the Fermi surface compared to the reference compound LaFe4P12. The cyclotron effective mass is found to be extraordinarily enhanced with the maximum value of 67m0.
