Nonfactorizable contributions to hadronic decays of D mesons

Abstract

Nonfactorizable contributions to charm meson and decay modes are investigated. Using isospin symmetry, we observe that the ratio of nonfactorizable isospin 1/2 and 3/2 reduced amplitudes seems to follow a universal value for these modes. Extending our analysis to SU(3) flavour symmetry, we obtain a consistent fit for η/η′ emitting decays of D and D+s mesons.
