Abstract

We report results of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments on 39K and 87Rb nuclei in the new superconductors AOs2O6 (A=K or Rb). These compounds crystallize in the β-pyrochlore structure. In the superconducting phase, we found a small peak in 1/(T1T) for 87Rb slightly below the superconducting transition temperature (Tc) but no peak for 39K. In the normal state of KOs2O6, we observed a clear pseudogap behavior similar to what has been observed in high Tc cuprates.
