Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the waiting time for selecting peers in P2P streaming. In our proposed method, waiting time is effectively reduced by sequentially receiving the first bit of data from the peer that has large bandwidth. The result shows that our proposed method reduces waiting time more than the simple method.
