Abstract

An effective method for the measurement of the resistivity (ρ > and magnetic susceptibility (X) of a circular rod-shaped superconductor, in which X is estimated by substituting the magnetic penetration depth (λ) into a formula after obtaining from the difference in the impedance between a solenoid coil with a sample and an identical one without a sample, is proposed. It was shown that, by this method (SRPM method), ρ and λ were precisely measured and it is possible to measure very low resistivity in comparison with conventional dc method.
