    Abstract

We illustrated presently recognized classification of IIP and the outline of this disease. Furthermore, pathologic and HRCT findings of IPF/UIP, DIP, RB-ILD, AIP, LIP, BOOP, and NSIP, were reviewed respectively. As for NSIP, we described in more detail by classifying into cellular pattern and fibrotic pattern. We believe that the knowledge and understanding of presently recognized outline of IIP, pathologic and HRCT findings are important for the radiologist in order to the change of classification of IIP in the future.
