Abstract

The aim of this study is how to recognize objects based on the mental model and the visual clues with products when operating. 231 university students as participants were asked to drew arrows how to operate in illustration where new faucets and sink were drew and explained the operation in questionnaires. Finally we can conclude that users find visual clues with products and imagine the function based on the clues. Next users can estimate how to operate according to the visual clues and the mental model.
