Abstract
1-Substituted F-1-alkenyl phosphate, readily available from F-alkyl ketones and diethyl phosphite, undergo the dephosphorylation by the action of copper(I) or copper(II) bromide and lithium aluminium hydride at -78 °C followed by hydrolysis to give the corresponding 1-hydryl-F-alkyl ketones in good to excellent yields.
