Abstract

Single crystal growth of uranium and cerium compounds via the Czochralski-pulling, self-flux and vapor transport method is discussed. The Fermi surface property of uranium compounds, together with that of typical cerium compounds is presented. The results of de Haas-van Alphen experiments and energy band calculations are reported.
