Abstract
High-field magnetization measurements have been performed on Nd2BaNiO5 single crystal using a pulsed magnetic field up to 24 T at 4.2 K. Two anomalies were observed at 9.6 and 16.2 T for H∥c. As we used the single crystal, we confirmed that they were metamagnetic transitions. The origin of the metamagnetic transitions is discussed.
