Abstract

A Heisenberg spin-Peierls system is studied within the mean-field approximation. It is shown that antiphase domain structures with a long period (incommensurate states) occur in high magnetic fields. The nature of the energy bands in the pseudofermion representation is discussed in connection with their stability.
