Abstract
Novel composite materials consisting of fullerodendrons and CaCO 3 particles were fabricated to have better efficiency as photosensitizers in singlet photooxygenation reactions compared to pristine fullerodendrons. Moreover, fullerodendrons in composites demonstrate the ability to control CaCO 3 polymorphism through formation of thermodynamically least stable form of CaCO 3: vaterite.
