Abstract

Electro-reductive homo-coupling of aryl bromides in a double mediatory system involving catalytic amounts of PdCl2(PPh3) 2 and N-alkyl-4-alkoxycarbonylpyridinium salts was performed successfully to afford the corresponding biaryls in good to moderate yields.
