Abstract

Two types of complexations between β-cyclodextrin (CD) and 4-dimethylaminoazobenzene were found in methanol-water and in dimethyl sulfoxide-water mixtures. One was an inclusion complex and the other was a lid type. The effects of pressure on the two complexations with β-CD were examined.
