We thank Professor L.L. Losev for suggestion of using a KGd(WO 4 ) 2 crystal for the generation of multi-color laser emission based on SRS and FWRM. This work was supported by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture of Japan.

N2 - The generation of high-order Raman emissions by using a KGd(WO4)2 (KGW) crystal as a Raman medium was discussed. Various types of picosecond and femtosecond laser with different pulsewidths were also examined. Seven emission lines, consisting of high-order Stokes and anti-Stokes emissions, were observed at a laser pulsewidth of 20 ps.
