Abstract

The generation of high-order Raman emissions by using a KGd(WO4)2 (KGW) crystal as a Raman medium was discussed. Various types of picosecond and femtosecond laser with different pulsewidths were also examined. Seven emission lines, consisting of high-order Stokes and anti-Stokes emissions, were observed at a laser pulsewidth of 20 ps.
