Abstract
We present a dual-resonance model with nontrivial quark spin factors. An amplitude is found which satisfies factorization and eliminates the parity-doubling ghosts. An application to ππ elastic scattering indicates that the positivity condition is not met on the first daughter trajectory if one assumes realistic values for the mass and intercept.
