Diffraction of light, namely structural color, is one of them and is generated by grating structure. We aim to develop a rubber grating sheet which can appear changeable structural color by extending it, and to apply it to rubber pneumatic actuator as a sensor. In previous report, grating sheets having line/space structure were fabricated and fundamental characteristics were confirmed. In this paper, new rubber grating sheets with multi pattern structures, line/space, pillar, and mos-eye, made from silicone rubber are fabricated, and potential of the sheets as strain sensor is confirmed experimentally.
