Determination of molecular density distribution and formation of novel structure by SEM in mixed crystals of organic metals

Abstract

The atomic distribution in organic conductors has been studied by SEM using EDX analysis. It has been revealed that the distribution is affected by the electron bombardments substantially. Small whiskers have been created by electron bombardments at some conditions. We propose this effect as a technique to prepare a new system in organic materials using SEM/EDX apparatus.
