Abstract

CT-guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation was performed in 9 consecutive patients (6 men and 3 women, age; 23-83 years: mean 58 years) with 11 renal tumors. The tumor size ranged from 1.5-3.5cm (mean: 2.5cm) in diameter. The follow-up period ranged from 1-13 months (mean: 4.4 months). Complete ablation has been obtained in all lesions on CT or MRI, or both. Small and exophytic renal tumors would be good indication for Radiofrequency ablation with CT-guidance.
