Complex susceptibility of Bi-system superconductors

Abstract

The superconducting properties of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O and Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O have been studied in terms of complex susceptibility. It has been revealed that partial substitution of Pb for Bi promotes the production of the high-Tc phase. As a result the superconducting properties of the system are improved.
