Abstract

Promotion of bulb germination using pulsed power has been demonstrated in our previous experiments. In order to clear the mechanisms of promotion of germination, the glucose concentration of bulb was measured at with and without pulsed power. The value of difference at between with and without pulsed power was about 2 μg/g. From the analysis of glucose, it was found that the pulsed power contributes to the high concentration of glucose, and it promotes germination of bulb.
