Abstract
An 84-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with gross hematuria, anorexia, and weight loss. Ultrasonography (US) and computed tomography (CT) showed a huge bladder mass and her serum Ca level was extremely elevated. Transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (TUR-Bt) was carried out Histopathological findings of TUR-biopsy showed high-grade urothelial carcinoma, positive for PTH-rP immunohistochemical staining. Her serum Ca level was decreased temporarily, but she died of the disease 12 weeks after the operation.
