Abstract

An auxiliary active quasi-resonant snubber-assisted voltage source three-phase soft switching rectifier was presented. The steady state performances and operating principle of the rectifier with instantaneous power feedback were evaluated. Computer-aided simulation analysis was used to achieve zero voltage and current soft switching operation of the rectifier. Results showed that turn-on and turn-off can be achieved for two auxiliary active switching power devices in auxiliary quasi-resonant commutated block snubber (ARCB) of rectifier.
