Abstract
We report here on the physical properties of single crystal, Ce2 RhSi3. The low-temperature physical properties of Ce2 RhSi3 are studied by means of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and specific heat measurements. Ce2 RhSi3 shows the typical heavy-fermion antiferromagnetic behavior. The electrical resistivity ρ (T) shows - ln T dependence from room temperature to 100 K and 20 to 5 K. The specific heat exhibits λ-type anomaly at around TN, while the value of magnetic entropy at TN is reduced to 56% of R ln 2. The linear coefficients of specific heat are 290 mJ / (Ce - mol K2) below TN. From these measurements, Ce2 RhSi3 can be classified to be moderate heavy-fermion antiferromagnet.
