Abstract
This is based on a single-hole test which has been developed from conventional packer tests, and consists of three steady-state injection tests (horizontal rotational packer test, vertical packer test and Louis' method) using four packers to create three packed-off intervals in a single borehole. Each of the three tests controls the direction of groundwater flow generated in a media. As a result, three kinds of injection volumetric rate can be obtained from the tests. A three-dimensional finite-element model of the test zone around a single-hole site is constructed; earlier three dimensional seepage flow analyses were carried out for finite element models that show various hydraulic anisotropy. -from Authors
