Abstract

We aim to realize the rescue robots using high pressure hydraulic cylinders. The robots are small-sized, light weight, and easy for general people to operate. They can make high-powered. These robots are very useful at the disaster area. We reported about a new rescue robot developed in this year, Cutter Robot. The purpose of this robot is to go in debris and remove obstructions. It helps other rescue tools or robots go in debris. Cutting ability of this robot is 50kN(5t) in maximum. Cutter part can be controlled to go up and incline itself to suit to rescue situations.
