Abstract

The Kullhnck-Iibler infnrmntion is utilized ay a critwion for measurement of the distance hetween the ohnerved and the model prohnhility distributions. In this paper a puuuihility of designing the sarnpliug plans is discussed from the information theory. A new design procedure for the snmpling plans is eutnhlished hazed on the Kullhnck-Iihler informntinn. The proposed procedure is simple and applicable to prnctical uuage.
