Abstract

We reported a case of renal oncocytoma that was indistinguishable from renal cell carcinoma. On CT images and MR images. well demarcated right renal tumor with pseudocapsule showed moderate early enhancement and delayed wash-out. On T2WI the tumor was slightly hypointense compared to renal cortex and the pseudocapsule was more hypointense than it. The tumor included small peripheral hemorrhage that showed hyperintensity on fat-saturated T1WI. Right partial nephrectomy was performed. The histopathological diagnosis was oncocytoma that had a small subcapsular hematoma and no central scar.
