Abstract

We reported a rare case of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis. On CT images, localized ground glass opacity with septal thickening in the left upper lobe was showed. We diagnosed highly-defferentiated adenocarcinoma, and operation was performed. Pathological findings showed pulmonary alveolar proteinosis and no malignancy. We should note that pulmonary alveolar proteinosis show crazy-paving pattern even in the early stage.
