Abstract
We report a case of adult scimitar syndrome associated with Budd-Chiari syndrome in a young female. Chest radiograph showed a typical scimitar shaped anomalous vein in the right lung. CT and MRI showed this anomalous pulmonary vein draining into the inferior vena cava at the level of the hepatic vein. There were the reflux flow of accessory hepatic veins communicating with the right and middle hepatic veins through the subcapsular collateral veins confirmed by Color Doppler ultrasonography.
