Abstract

This paper proposes a novel 3D-printable prosthetic hand with a dual-arm task model. The proposed prosthesis involves a state-transition model of dual-arm tasks in daily livings and can be accurately controlled by EMG and posture signals. An example of controlling the proposed prosthetic hand in daily living could demonstrate the efficacy of the task model in dual-arm operations.
