Abstract

In the crystal structure of the title 1:2 salt, C10H22N2 2+·2C6HCl2O4 -, the 4,4′-bipiperidinium dication and the two hydrogen chloranilate anions are held together by N - H⋯O and C - H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Two 1:2 units are connected by O - H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a centrosymmetric mol-ecular ring. The rings are further linked by O - H⋯O, N - H⋯O and C - H⋯O hydrogen bonds, leading to a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network.
